An Ongoing Formation Programme for diocesan and religious priests ordained to the priesthood in 97, 98 and 99 was held on August 4 and 5 at the Dewatte Retreat House in Ragama, Colombo, organized by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka.
The programme was conducted with the guidance of Rt. Rev. Dr. Noel Emmanuel, Bishop of Trincomalee. It included presentations, discussions, group activities and Holy Mass.
The presentations were conducted by Rev. Fr. Selvaratnam, Rev. Fr. Senil Jayawardena, and Dr. Sri Ranjan.
Around 40 participants, including Rt. Rev. Dr. Antony Jayakody, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Colombo; Rt. Rev. Dr. Wimal Sri Jayasuriya, Bishop of Chilaw; and diocesan and religious priests, took part in the programme.
