The opening ceremony of the new Administrative Unit Building of the St. Patrician Institute of Higher Studies was held on May 13.
The event, organized by Rev. Fr. Nesanayagam, Procurator of the Diocese, was held under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Manuvelpillai David, Director of the Ahavoli Family Services Centre.
Rt. Rev. Dr Justin Gnanapragasam, Bishop of Jaffna, presided over the ceremony, blessed the building, and officially declared it open.
The foundation stone for the building was laid in July 2023 by then Apostolic Nuncio to Sri Lanka, Archbishop Brian Udaigwe.
