The book titled “A Man of Integrity”, authored by Rev. Fr. John Baptist Anthony of the Diocese of Jaffna, was launched on April 25 at the Ahavoli Family Service Centre Hall in Jaffna.
The event was held under the chairmanship of Rev. Fr. Raviraj, lecturer at St. Francis Xavier’s Major Seminary, Columbuthurai. The Bishop of Jaffna, Rt. Rev. Dr. Justin Gnanapragasam, attended as the chief guest and formally released the book.
The review of the publication was delivered by Rev. Fr. Manuvelpillai David, Director of the Ahavoli Family Service Centre.
Priests, religious sisters, and members of the public were among those present at the event.
The book presents the life and mission of the late former Bishop of Jaffna, Rt. Rev. Dr. Jacob Bastiampillai Deogupillai.
