In view of the upcoming Christmas Festival, the results of the All-Island Christmas Carol Singing Competition organized by the Department of Christian Religious Affairs of Sri Lanka have now been officially released.Conducted at the national level in both Tamil and Sinhala languages, the competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from across the island.
In the Tamil-medium category, the Chunnakam Prish – Jaffna, secured the First Place. The Church of Our Lady of Victory, Pesalai – Mannar, was awarded the Second Place. The St. Cecilia Choir of Joseph Vaz Nagar, Mannar, achieved the Third Place.
The Fourth Place was won by the Central College, Pallai – Kilinochchi, while the Fifth Place was claimed by the St. James’ Church Choir, Murungan – Mannar.
