The newly constructed administrative building at the NEFAD Foundation fishing net production factory was inaugurated on August 29.
The ceremony was led by Rev. Alosius Anto Denisious, Director of Caritas Jaffna – HUDEC, and Rt. Rev. Dr. Justin Gnanapragasam, Bishop of Jaffna, blessed and officially opened the building.
The event was attended by Jaffna Government Agent Mr. Pratheeban as the chief guest, former Caritas HUDEC directors Rev. Fr. Jayakumar and Rev. Fr. Eugine Francis as guests of honor, and Dr. (Mrs.) Sutharshini, Head of the Department of Fisheries at the University of Jaffna.
NEFAD Executive Council members, including Vicar General Rev. Fr. Jebaratnam and procurator general Rev. Fr. Nesanayagam, along with priests, religious, staff, and well-wishers, also participated in the event.
