The Lenten meditation for the Bishops, priests, and religious of the Northern and Eastern Tamil dioceses was held on March 9, at the Madhu Shrine in Mannar.
The programme was organized by the Northern and Eastern Bishops’ Council and was conducted under the leadership of Rt.Rev.Dr.Noel Emmanuel the Bishop of the Diocese Trincomalee.
The event included the Way of the Cross, Holy Rosary, Holy Mass, and a meditation talk.
The meditation talk was delivered by Rev. Fr. Agustin Mundecad, Director of the Divine Mercy Retreat Centre in Uyilankulam, Kallikkattaikaadu. The Holy Mass was presided over by Bishop Noel Emmanuel.
More than 200 priests and religious from the Tamil dioceses participated in this spiritual gathering.
