A special event for Christian Unity Week, a friendship meeting between two theological colleges was held on January 24th at St. Francis Xavier Major Seminary in Columbuthurai Jaffna. The event was guided by Rev. Kamalakkumaran, Principal of the Christian Theological College, and Rev. Fr. Thayaparan, Rector of St. Francis Xavier Major Seminary.
The program included prayer services for Christian unity as well as discussions among students and lecturers.
During the discussions, participants explored future challenges faced by Christian workers in unity initiatives and considered possible solutions.
Every year, during Christian Unity Week in January, the two theological college communities in Jaffna come together to strengthen friendship and foster collaboration through such meetings.
